Tour Day 3

Today is a day off. Theres talk about heading to nelson today but we might stay put and jam some new songs out. Yesterday we had some great breakfast, picked up a half of our band and went into Vancouver. We walked around, stole picks, went to the nude beach, and met up with cope at Fattihs. We made our way to the venue after some amazing pizza, and unloaded our gear into the venue. Drew looked for about 20 or 30 minutes trying to find a decent place to park, but ended up having to pay for parking.

We were playing at the Anti-Poverty Committee with Cope and Damages. Damages were up first and played really good and really tight. I was surprised they acctually were the opening act. Cope went on after enduring Mikes intense puns and played a good set. They had no mic stands so cope held the mics up and we screamed into them. When we were done playing Drew went to pull up the van and he noticed someone broke into our van.

Cops tracked us down and gave us what they could, but we lost 120 bucks, my inhalers, Drews iPod, my camera stuff, and one condom. Thanks to Caitlin Ffrench, Travis, the kids who bought cd's, and a HUGE thanks to cope, for lending us a couple bucks so we can make it across the country.

i might re write this with more interesting stuff that happend but im not feelin it. they stole my journal so im pretty angsty.

Tour Day 1...

Jesus Christ, Awesome Day. Finished Packing And Got The Whole Band Out Here, Met Up With Cope And TG To Head To The Venue. Played A Tiny Packed Basement That Felt Like A Sauna By The End. Cope Was Awesome, We're Sleeping At A Farm Right Now, Playing Vancouver Tomorrow. It's Day 1, My Shirt Is Covered In Blood, And Our Van Already Has A Creepy Smell, Shit.

We're Still Shooting Out Tomorrow To Langley For The Tour Kick-Off, And Then Doing The Whole Trek, No Matter What It Takes. Later Today I'm Gonna Post A More Solid Set of Dates Alongside The Venues We're Playing And What We Still Need A Bit Of Help With.

The Cobalt Show

We showed up, unloaded, parked the van, and headed down the road to kill time.
We ended up at the Vancouver Chinese Night Market off of Main and checked out a bunch of booths. One booth had some swords with loads of Nazi Symbolism on it, being sold by an asian. We bought some subway, ate, And watched the other bands, Then Shit Got Fucked.

We finished setting up and started playing our first song, which went fine and dandy, now my memory get's hazy, not do to alchohol, but due to the concussion I endured during our set. These are mine and Reuben's Memories of everything

1. My guitar got shittered so I started crawling around the speaker towers and found some dusty old mechanical equipment and put it on my head and fell down.
2. I got another guitar and fell off the stage at which point I slammed my head into a stair's edge and endured my concussion.
3. I jumped on the floor and Reuben kicked me hard as fuck, I was screaming on the ground, I don't remember what about, But we were all still playing.
4. I started hanging off the pipes in the place while mike jumped off the stage and did some guitar swing shit, At this point I saw Reuben's Bass, Not Him.
5. Reuben was screaming in peoples faces while Mike and Tyler Were jamming on stage, I have no idea what the hell I was doing at this point.
6. We decided to tune up our everything and do the last song good, then we lost it and started fucking everything up, We'll leave that part at that. If You Weren't There, Shit, You Missed Out, But The Show's Only Get Crazier.

We got absolutely wrecked in the manner of damage to our bodies. I can't feel my shoulders, It's just pain, Reuben Has a swollen hand and head, I got concussed. We also trashed our drumset and then Reuben spat on me. Gross.

There's 8 days before tour, here's a list of some shit we're doing in this time frame.

1. Sending an exclusive track to Bart Records for a compilation release, talk to them about getting one around the end of summer.
2. Doing The Second Run Of Our First EP, 150 Copies.
3. Doing the first run of the new split, 150 or 200 copies, depends how tired we get, we're doing every single one by hand.
4. Playing Live On The Radio Tonight At 101.9 citr, at 10 PM, BC time, You Can Listen On There Website With Free Live Streaming.
5. We Have One More Local Vancouver Show On July 12th At The Cobalt, See If You Can Make It Out.

Split Coming Before Tour...

Finishing up in the studio tomorrow, 2 song's from us, and 3 from our friends in the Clydesdales. We'll also have 1 song slipping out onto a compilation for Bart Records alongside bands such as dd/mm/yyyy and the Doers to name a few. We're super stoked on what we finished today as it far surprassed the old EP. We're gonna try and get the old one re-mastered for the second run so all the cool kids can buy it. We're also making some patches and pins, and maybe T-shirts if we find the time ( Anyone wanna help? ). New split, get fuckin' stoked. Tour in 12 day's now.
